Hailing from the East Coast, Peter was raised amidst the Appalachian Mountains in western Maryland. He spent summers at the beach where he learned to sail. After graduating from college in 2002, he embarked on a journey to Maui, where he dedicated several years to guiding kayak excursions and achieving the esteemed status of a PADI scuba instructor. However, his passion for boating remained unwavering. By 2010, he transitioned into a professional role working on sailboats, culminating in the achievement of his 100-ton USCG captain's license in 2018. Since then, his life has been a continual voyage on the open waters. Beyond his maritime pursuits, Peter finds joy in playing music and casting his fishing line.
